Left-handed sprint-to-mile turf course with a 350m opening straight and Tokyo’s huge 525.9m final homestretch. The long stretch and uphill Shiroi slope favor runners with strong late acceleration and enough Power to keep speed through the climb.

Fun Facts

• Hosts the Keio Hai Spring Cup, a major Yasuda Kinen prep. The race was originally run over 1800m before switching to its current 1400m distance.
• Taiki Shuttle won the 1998 Keio Hai Spring Cup on this course.
• Keio Hai Nisai Stakes serves as a trial race for the 1600m Asahi Hai Futurity Stakes, which is considered the de facto year-end championship for Japanese two-year-olds.
