Right-handed dirt mile course with a 343m opening straight before Corner 1. The flat profile and short 264m final straight favor runners who secure position early and sustain speed through Sapporo’s wide turns.

Fun Facts

• Hosts the Elm Stakes, Sapporo's signature graded dirt race.
• The first seven editions of the Elm Stakes took place at Hakodate Racecourse, and the race also returned there in 2013.
• Despite similarities to Hakodate 1700m, Sapporo has wider, more sweeping corners.
